Report: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Wants To Return To Barcelona This Summer

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is not expected to feature too much for Chelsea towards the end of the season and is expected to leave the club as a free agent in the summer.

Aubameyang has unfinished business at Barcelona where he had to leave last summer for Chelsea due to financial reasons, and he wants to return to Spain again this year.

Barcelona would like to sign Aubameyang, but they could move for Vitor Roque instead.

According to Fabricio Romano, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants to return to Barcelona this summer from Chelsea.

While Barcelona would like to have Aubameyang back at the club, he may not be the first choice on their list. Vitor Roque is a target for Barca, and if they sign him they may not move for Aubameyang.

Roque is one of the most highly rated youngsters on the planet at the moment, and Barca are hoping they can beat Chelsea and Arsenal to his signature this summer.

If Barcelona fail to sign Roque, they will move for Aubameyang but he is not their main target as things stand.

Aubamayang wants the return to Barcelona but he may have to stand by and wait to see if they can sign Roque. Chelsea could actually do Aubameyang a favour by landing a deal for the Athletico Paranaense striker.

Barcelona will target a number of free agents this summer due to their financial situation and the possibility of bringing back Lionel Messi.
